COFFEE SHOP DESIGN
Sisterhood Cafe
Using an old, heritage building and respecting it’s history and then adding an art gallery into
the space to exhibit a young and upcoming South African Artist’s works. This will add to the
experience of the space as well as bring in a contrast between
the two very different era’s.

LOGO DESIGN
The logo was inspired by a religious point of view, the Olive leaf represents peace and hope which ties into the name - The hope and promise of eternal friendship, "Sisterhood".
This coffee shop and art gallery is designed and aimed towards a female based target group which can be used to uplift womanhood and sisterhood.
DELI DESIGN
Cosmos Cafe
Cosmos Cafe was designed on the concept of space, more focused on Jupiter the planet.
The main aspects taken from Jupiter are the rings that surround it. There are many aspects within the coffee shop that highlight this.
The feature point for this space is the staircase, which entices the user to go discover what is upstairs.
The space was targeted towards students, to provide them with a fun, unique space where they can go an either work on some varsity work, relax on the bean bags or just grab something to each.
RESTAURANT DESIGN
IBHAYI CAFE
Ibhayi Cafe is a restaurant design that is based on a South African concept. Celebrating all that Port Elizabeth stands for. Celebrating the different languages, cultures and the diversity in personalities that makes Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela bay a rainbow City.
