Pendant Light

The Concept - Merging Organic with Geometric

This concept derives from the inspiration of unique, geometric architecture and the simple form of a wilting flower. Both architecture and nature are aspects around us which demands our attention, whether it is the simplicity of a wilting and dying flower or the complex structure of a building which dominates the space around it. The motivation behind the design of this pendant light, is to bring colour and nature into a space in an unusual and abstract way. To represent nature in a form where the human touch is seen, hence the recycled glass which represents people and our affect on nature

My Little Condo - Tent

The aim of this product that is being explored is to bring shelter and joy back into the communities.

The product mentioned is designed to keep children warm and safe from the harshness of the environment, especially through the upcoming winter season.

Not only will this product provide warmth and shelter but also the idea of play. Play would be incorporated by the idea of a tepee, which can be seen in figure 1. The tepee is a structure where children create fictional fantasies and use their imagination to interact with one another. Interaction is vitally important in childhood development and therefore it is an important need that should be dealt with.
